AI Portrait Generator
Why generate portraits on Venice?
Portrait apps are aggressive about storing faces. A face is sensitive even when the product calls it a filter.
Venice does not use your prompts to train AI models and does not keep a face archive of yours on its computers on the default path.
Z-Image Turbo handles photographic headshots. Chroma and Wai Illu (Pro) handle painted or illustrated portraits.
Grok Imagine Quality is the credit step for skin and fabric detail. Use it after the pose is right.
Within the law, adult fictional portraits other hosts block can be allowed. Non-consensual deepfakes of real people are not.
Free image use is 15 per day. Lighting tests will consume it. Lock the pose early.
Prompting tips for generating portraits with AI
Invent the face. Give age range, bone structure in plain language, and expression. Do not paste a celebrity.
If you need a portrait of a real client, shoot a photo. Do not ask the AI model to become them.
Set the camera. For example: 85mm, slightly above eye line, simple backdrop. Phone-selfie prompts produce distorted jaws.
Wardrobe should include fabric and fit. A vague “business casual” often comes back as a random outfit.
For painted portraits, name the medium and the tiny spark of light in the eyes. Oil versus ink changes everything.
Hands in frame are optional. If you include them, give them a job, for example holding something.
Ask for lighting that's not even on both sides. Even beauty lighting everywhere makes a mannequin.
Run a three-quarter pose and a profile. If you need a headshot, one lucky frontal is rarely enough.
Do not generate minors. Do not age-down an adult. If the prompt is ambiguous, rewrite it until it is clearly an adult.
When you publish, label AI portraits if the context would otherwise deceive. A fake founder photo is a trust problem.
For team pages, do not mix one photographed person with five generated coworkers. Viewers notice the uncanny gap.
If you generate a fictional spokesperson, write a bio that does not imply they exist.
Use the same backdrop description for a set of staff-style portraits even when the faces are invented. Cohesion beats novelty.
When in doubt, hire a photographer. This page is for concepts, games, and clearly synthetic art.
Ask for a spark of light in the eyes and a clear hair edge. Soft cutouts against white are how fakes get spotted in bios.
If the portrait is for ID-style use, stop. Generated faces do not belong on badges.
Vary age and features across a fictional crowd. One beautiful template reused ten times is a tell.
Keep jewelry consistent if the character returns. AI models love to swap jewelry. If you need a specific living person, hire them or use a photo they provided. Do not prompt their name. Name the wardrobe once and keep it.
