DALL-E 3, inside ChatGPT, is convenient and heavily filtered. It is also an OpenAI-hosted prompt log for many account types. Agent mode at venice.ai/chat/agent can make the picture in the same chat as the text, plus video, without sending that prompt to OpenAI on the default path.

Venice does not use your image prompts to train AI models. Default generations are not a gallery on Venice's computers.

The default still is Z-Image Turbo, not DALL-E. The look will differ. That's the point of an alternative, not a clone.

Venice will allow many legal prompts OpenAI refuses. It will not allow illegal ones. “Uncensored” is not “unlawful.”

Grok Imagine Image 2.0 and Grok Imagine Quality exist if you want an xAI look instead of an OpenAI look. They cost credits.

Free Venice image use is 15 per day. DALL-E access depends on your OpenAI plan. Price the filter you can live with.

• Write the subject first, then the lighting, then the camera. DALL-E often “beautifies” without being asked. Here you should spell out the details you want.

• Say what must not appear: extra people, extra text. You have to ask for that yourself.

• Keep any words inside the picture to three words or fewer. Long signs usually come out wrong.

• Pick the picture shape before you generate: 16:9, 9:16, or 1:1.

• If you want a raw prompt, say “Do not rewrite my prompt.” Venice can enhance if you let it.

• For a photo look, name a real time of day and a real lens. For art, name the medium first.

• Do not expect the picture to look just like DALL-E 3. If a client required that look, you still need that product.

• If the prompt is private, keep it on Venice's image models. If you brief GPT in chat first, OpenAI still reads that brief.

• Change one thing per try: the light, or the subject, not both.

• If both tools fail the same prompt, rewrite the scene. The brief is usually the problem.

• Run one prompt in both tools if you still have ChatGPT. Keep the file you are allowed to save.

• Ask for dirt and scuffs if you want a photo, not a poster. DALL-E often polishes those away.

• Name one style only. Five artist names in one prompt make a muddy mix.

• If you need a series, number the frames in the prompt and repeat the room description.

• If you like DALL-E's safer layout, say “simple composition, centered subject” instead of hoping a filter will do it.

• If the first still is too polished, add one real-world flaw, for example a scuffed floor or a crooked frame.
