A long draft leaks more than a tweet. A chapter, a report, or a personal essay is exactly the kind of text some companies want to keep.

• Start with the reader and the promise, not the title. A clear structure is harder to fake than a headline.

• Ask for a one-page outline with real claims, not just topic headers. If a section cannot say what it is arguing, it should not exist.

• Write the opening yourself, or rewrite it heavily. AI models often start with a long warm-up even when you tell them not to.

• Feed research as short fact bullets. Then tell the AI model it cannot add new facts. That's the most reliable way to stop invented numbers.

• For fiction, lock who is telling the story, past or present tense, and what the narrator cannot know.

• For poetry, say the form you want and where you will allow a break from it. Otherwise you get free verse with a form name stuck on top.

• For papers, keep the literature review separate from your argument. Ask the AI model to flag any claim that needs a source instead of inventing one.

• Do a cut pass that aims for about 80 percent of the current length. Venice will keep adding. You have to delete.

• Watch for the same phrase in every heading. If you repeat a keyword that often, you are stuffing, not writing.

• Keep a human last step: quotes you actually collected, numbers you actually measured, and a conclusion only you can stand behind.

• If you write fiction in chapters, keep a living sheet of names, distances, and who knows what. Paste it into every chapter request.

• For reported pieces, record interviews yourself. Venice can clean up a transcript's tone. It cannot attend the interview.

• When you are stuck, ask for ten titles on purpose, including bad ones. Picking from a list is faster than waiting for one perfect line.

• Keep your facts file next to the draft. If a number is not in your notes, it does not belong in the piece.
